Attention business owners. Take note of the importance of having a leadership team that is empowered. For years, I struggled with work-life balance, releasing control and trusting others. I want to encourage managers and leaders to open up their minds and ears.
Consider two to four individuals on your team who could benefit from leadership training, earn more money, and have a larger role within your organization.
Gather those for a meeting to understand their strengths, dreams, and ideas.
Encourage and allow those individuals to create, build, or do whatever they think could build or boost your company. Coming to terms with failure is a learning experience for all.
Our leadership teams take ownership, set the bar for other team members, and are there day-to-day overseeing operations. This team allows me to work on the business and create more opportunities for all.
When they open up, listen.
When they suggest an idea, support it.
When it works out, congratulate and offer a bonus.
When it fails, dive into what was learned and how can you overcome it.
You can do it, begin thinking about what can happen in 2024.
